"website" refers to any of the websites owned and operated by The Happy Hedgehog.
"net order value" is the total value of the order after deduction of any discounts, deals or special offers but before the deduction of any vouchers issued by The Happy Hedgehog. The net order value is used to calculate carriage and delivery charges.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
All orders for goods shall be subject to these terms and conditions. No variation of these terms and conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing by The Happy Hedgehog.
We reserve the right to withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
The Happy Hedgehog guarantee that all goods on offer are as described on the website and are fit for their intended purpose. Should any product fail to meet our high standards it will be replaced immediately. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Orders can only be accepted from customers who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age you are welcome to browse our website but regret that we are unable to accept any order from you.
REFILLS will only be supplied by The Happy Hedgehog if the correct empty container is provided by the customer.
For Delphis Eco refills: only like for like refills can be sold. For instance, an empty bottle of Delphis Eco washing up liquid can only be refilled with Delphis Eco washing up liquid. This is also the case for KINN Living products. If the customer chooses to decant the product into a different container on their own premises after the sale, they do so at their own risk and the Happy Hedgehog cannot be liable for any contamination of the product. By decanting the product into a different container, the customer is liable for any contamination.
For Bio-D and Miniml refills can be supplied in the customer's own container, providing they are clean, have appropriate lids, are considered by the Happy Hedgehog family to be fit for purpose and a suitable size. A safety label will be affixed to the customer's container ensuring the customer has the details of the product purchased.
Lids must be secure; cleaning products will not be supplied in drinking or foodstuff containers. The Happy Hedgehog Family reserves the right to refuse sale if the container provided is not considered clean, safe or suitable. This is for safety reasons.
Only products that have safety labels provided by the manufacturer will be sold in this way.
PAYMENT
Payment for goods ordered can be made by PayPal or on delivery, in person with credit/debit card or cash.
In the event of payment being declined by your card issuer, The Happy Hedgehog shall not be responsible for any costs or inconvenience caused by a subsequent delay in despatch.
DELIVERY METHODS - to these postcodes only: RM, CM, IG, SS, E6, E7, E11, E12, E13, E18, or as arranged with Us.
In general orders are processed within 24 hours after they are received, however at busy times this may not be possible. Please therefore allow up to one week for delivery.
Orders are delivered by us via our electric van, free of charge. Arrangements can be made for items to be left in a 'safe place'. The Happy Hedgehog Family cannot accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to the delivery. By arranging a 'safe place' for items to be left, you take full responsibility for your items.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through a website within seven working days of their receipt of the goods. UK residents wishing to cancel an order under these Regulations should return the goods to The Happy Hedgehog, Returns Department, 32 Spenser Crescent, Upminster, Essex, RM14 1AW United Kingdom in their original packing and in their original condition.
The Happy Hedgehog will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at our above address, and we strongly recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery or some other means of tracked delivery system.
Once The Happy Hedgehog receives the goods in saleable condition, a refund for their cost will be made to your credit/debit card used at time of purchase.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to The Happy Hedgehog, we do not refund any carriage charges paid.

COMPETITION TERMS
From time to time we will promote a competition / competitions on social media, which may be facilitated by third party contest app.
The promoter is The Happy Hedgehog Family Ltd, company details as above (known as The Happy Hedgehog or The Promoter').
Our competitions are open to residents of the countries The Happy Hedgehog ships to unless otherwise stated, except for employees of The Happy Hedgehog and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competitions.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter our competitions, purchasing does not increase chance of winning.
By entering our competitions, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Multiple different entries from the same person are allowed and count as multiple entries as specified in each competition’s rules.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Each competition closes at the time stated in related social media or web posts based on GMT.
For a competition entry to be complete it must complete all of the criteria listed in the social media or web posts, including but not limited to following the appropriate The Happy Hedgehog accounts.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition in the case of group or partner giveaways.
Each competition’s prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winner will be chosen from all entries received, at random using a third party app or tool where possible.
Winner will be notified on the same platform on which they entered the competition unless otherwise specified or via email. If the winner does not respond within 7 days the promoter reserves the right to select a new winner and the original winner holds no claim to the prize after this time.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with our competitions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
